Hi guys, I’m Jordan Landes-Brenman, and I’m here today with my male model Scott, and I’m going to be talking about what color tie you should wear with a blue suit on a very important job interview. The first thing when selecting your outfit is to know where it is your interviewing. Are you interviewing at a finance company, or a fashion magazine? Once you’ve determined where it is that you’re interviewing, you need to decide how you’re going to incorporate your personal style. Although an interview is typically formal, you want to make sure that a little bit of your personality shines through. After all, they are hiring you and only you, hopefully. So, if you want to go the more modern route, or you’re going to an interview in the fashion industry especially, going the route of a skinny tie, which is a more modern silhouette and shape, with a conservative pattern, like Scott has on here, it’s navy blue with light stripes, is a great safe way to go to still show that you’re with the trend. If for instance you’re going to a finance interview, I would definitely recommend going a more conservative, with a more conservative tie. A tie that’s wider, and thicker, and still a very traditional pattern, is going to only compliment the suit and not distract from, you know, the seriousness of the interview. So now you know what color tie to wear with a blue suit to an interview, regardless of the industry, so go out there and get that job. We’ll see you next time, I’m Jordan Landes-Brenman, big thanks to my male model Scott White, bye.
