Springtime Stripes

Maybe it’s the forever wannabe French girl in me, my short-lived stint as a prepster in high school, or the fact that they’re just so Audrey Hepburn (or just all of the above), but springtime stripes have quickly become one of my go-to neutrals this season.

While I love myself a print, I just don’t wear them as much – for the sheer fact that they aren’t as versatile as a solid piece. Le Stripe however, strikes the perfect balance between the two, and instantly elevates any solid colored outfit into something more curated. (even if you threw it together at the last minute!) It can be worn in so many different ways, and brings a  little dose of ‘je ne sais quoi’ to any look.

My favorite take on the trend? Combine stripes with menswear suiting, like I did with this two-piece version from Tobi.com, and you, my darling, have yourself an iconic ensemble.
